You can be on one side of the map and still get enemies spawning right next to you. spawns are different… Im not used to how they behave. ![]() Maps… I wouldn’t say better or worse than MW but definitely some flaws to both. Vanguard is fresh and feels a little more fun now since it is new. Being early in release I assume Vanguard will tweak the game more to smooth matchmaking. ![]() The matchmaking system is better than MW2019 but matches will still start without full teams. The overall atmosphere of the game is much faster paced in Vanguard. Footsteps were crucial and it is less so in Vanguard (so far). MW2019 was HUGE on the ability to hear things… like how planting on B at Petrov oil rig would completely mess up your game because of the huge engine right by the bomb. A few times hitmarkers would appear on one side when I was shot from the other. Sounds in Vanguard need immediate improvement… Not that the sounds themselves are tacky but the 3D audio that allows you to hear footsteps 20m away and the audio of footsteps 5m away are sometimes indifferent. Still by far the most similar engine to MW2019. Kind of harder to turn in close quarters on Vanguard. Close quarters engagements feel different. The engine feels familiar, not alike to previous titles or Cold War… It feels like Modern Warfare with a different texture pack on. Gameplay is SIMILAR but not identical to MW2019. That being said, still better than Cold Wars graphics imo. Attention to detail in MW is amazing while to me Vanguard seems to run along with other Call of Duty games graphics. MW2019 edges out Vanguard graphics wise despite being released 2 years earlier. Here are my thoughts comparing it against Vanguard. ![]() Modern warfare 2019 up to date has been my favorite Call Of Duty title I’ve ever played.
